Questions We Get a Lot
Consider the heating system, construction materials, interior dimensions, electrical requirements and manufacturer specifications. For infrared models, documented information about heater placement and EMF measurements can also help you compare options more carefully.
Look beyond temperature alone. Cooling capacity, filtration, sanitation, insulation, operating noise, drainage and ongoing maintenance all influence how practical a cold plunge will be to own and use.
Consider chair dimensions, user height and weight recommendations, massage-track design, adjustment options and available programs. You should also account for the clearance required when the chair reclines and how it will be delivered into your space.
Review dimensions, electrical requirements, flooring, ventilation, drainage and delivery access before ordering. Manufacturer installation requirements vary by product, so planning the space around the specific model is important.
About Wellness & Recovery
The Altus Dwellings Wellness & Recovery collection brings together thoughtfully selected infrared saunas, cold plunges and massage chairs for considered home environments. Each product is evaluated with attention to construction, performance, design, installation requirements and long-term ownership. Whether creating a dedicated wellness room or introducing a single piece into your home, the collection is designed to make comparing your options clearer and more considered.
